[Solved] Laptop Screen flickers when Plugged In

Recently i experienced that my laptop screen flickers when Plugged In. I thought that its a hardware issue but that was not the case. I have done a lot of search on internet regarding this and i found that the video “refresh rate” is switching between 60Hz (on AC power) and 50Hz (on battery power).

Many laptop has this problem of flickering, but don’t worry. Its not any hardware issue .

How to fix Laptop Screen Flickering when plugged in

Follow this guide to fix this problem.

Actually here we are going to set a fixed refresh rate, so your refresh rate will not change.

Put your laptop on charging

Go to Advanced Display settings > Monitor.

Here, under Monitor settings, set the Screen Refresh Rate to 50 Hertz.

Apply it.
